Does stress have a negative impact on the hair growth cycle?

The connection between stress and our hair follicles is not all in our heads, or something that people imagine to exist. In fact, there is research literature which explains how it is possible for stress to contribute to hair loss. When we are stressed, our nerves release neurochemicals which can affect our follicles, and cause them to enter a resting (non-growth) state known as telogen. The body then invests energy and resources to other areas more closely related to survival in order to restore its balance. Studies have shown that turmeric and fenugreek (Both contained in Gashee) have stress treatment potential.
